Visitors have access to the meadow to explore which has seated areas to rest and view nature or sunbathe on loungers.

The meadow and surrounding fields are home to many lovely bird’s, barn owls, woodpeckers, and pheasants. Wildflowers encourage butterflies. Deer muntjac and rabbits visit in the morning and at dusk.

Rockland All Saints is a dark skies area that allows the moon and stars to be seen in their full twinkling glory. Norfolk is well known for having an expansive sky as it is such a flat county, this makes for wonderful sunrise and sunset displays.  The sun rises to the front of the Pods and sets directly behind them.

The nearest Town is Attleborough 4 miles away. It is set in rural countryside yet just a 30-minute drive into bustling historic Norwich.

It is a great central base to explore the whole of East Anglia (the sandy beaches, historic market towns, picturesque villages, Norfolk broads, country estates, and gardens)

In the village there is a pub The White Hart, a 5-minute walk with a great menu.

There is a community shop, stocking local Norfolk produce and most things you might need including off licence. The shop also has a post office and a cash machine. There is a social club attached to the playing field which screens some games with a well-stocked bar.

Local history is evidenced in three beautiful village churches ranging from the 11th to 15th century all within walking distance.

Walking distance is Mere Fishery great lake-side fishing site with a cafe very reasonable day pass. 15 min drive away is Swangley Lakes several well stocked fishing lakes

20mins by car is Old Buckingham Country Park which hosts several attractions, during the summer’s there is the famous hot air balloon competition.
